“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
~Margaret Mead
Hi! I'm Divija Bhimaraju, the Co-Founder of TinkerOn. My passion is to nurture a love for learning in young minds through interactive, intuitive learning that is not provided in traditional theory-based schooling systems. I have a decade of teaching experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students in a variety of settings ranging from leading summer camps to 1-1 tutoring. I attended The Harker School and graduated as a Regents and Chancellor's scholar with a degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley, and my academic journey instilled in me the importance of design thinking and practical application. My experience as the founder and President of the accessible technology non-profit Donum Visi honed my skills in leading a successful and motivated team of educators and volunteers. My forte lies in crafting engaging, comprehensive, project-driven curricula rooted in asking questions and observing the world around us. I am motivated by my belief that the young minds of today will be the architects of transformative solutions for our world’s critical challenges.
